Aviation Auditor (Entry Level) Overview

Introduction:

Quality and Safety Management Systems are fundamental elements of an aviation organization’s
day- to-day operations. The design and implementation of such systems may be influenced by many
factors. The Civil Aviation Regulation states that Organisations will establish a Quality Control System
contained within their approval and manuals and complimenting in conjunction with a Safety
Management System.

Aim:

The Aviation Auditor training course is designed to blend ISO 9001:2015 auditing principles and best
practices into the aviation environment and to develop the learners' knowledge of aviation safety
and quality auditing requirements.
At the end of the training, learners will be able to initiate and plan an audit, carry out document
reviews, prepare checklists and questions, collect evidence and write an audit report on the
observations and findings.

Pre Entry Requirements:

1. Matric or equivalent senior school qualification or recognition of prior learning
2. Good communication both in written and spoken English
3. Must have held an aviation position for 2 years
