INTERNAL AUDITOR COURSE OVERVIEW

Duration: 3 Days

Introduction:

Quality and Safety Management Systems are fundamental elements of an aviation organization’s day-to-day operations. The design and implementation of such systems may be influenced by many factors.

The Civil Aviation Regulation states that Organisations will establish, document and implement a Quality oversight system within their approved manuals in order to ensure that the Organisations documented policies, processes and procedures are measured, improved and adhered to. This applies to both the Quality and Safety disciplines.

Aim:

The Internal Auditor (IA) Course is designed to blend the ISO 9001:2015 Quality foundations and ISO 19011:2018 auditing principles and best practices into the aviation environment and to develop the learners’ knowledge of aviation safety and quality auditing and inspection requirements.

At the end of the training, learners will be able to initiate and plan an audit, carry out document reviews, prepare checklists and questions, collect evidence and write an audit/inspection report on the observations and findings.
